What this site collects, which is very little
Second Set Guide is a set of static pages. There is no account, no form, no newsletter and no comment section, which removes most of the ways a website normally collects anything about anybody.
The short version
Nothing here asks you for anything. No sign-up, no mailing list, no quote form, no comment box. Write to us and we hold what your own email client sent: an address, and the words you typed. Nothing more than that exists.
Because dentures are a health subject, the absence of a form matters more here than it would elsewhere. Details about your mouth, your treatment or your medical history are exactly the kind of thing a site like this should not be inviting into an inbox, so we do not invite them. If you send them anyway, we delete them.
Server logs
Like every website, the server that delivers these pages records ordinary request information: the page asked for, the time, an IP address, the browser's user-agent string, and the page you arrived from if your browser sent one. It is used to keep the site working and to see which pages are read. We do not try to identify anybody from it and we do not combine it with anything else.
Cookies and analytics
Nothing on these pages writes a cookie, and no advertising network is loaded anywhere on the site.
If an analytics tool is added later, this page will be updated before it goes live, and it will say which tool and what it records. We would rather run without one than quietly add a tracker to a health page.
Following a paid link
Some outbound links on this site are paid. They go through an address on this domain in the form /go/ followed by a short name, which forwards you to the company's own site. Following one means that company — and whatever affiliate network sits between us — may set cookies and record the visit under its own privacy policy, which is theirs and not ours. Read it there if it matters to you.
What comes back to us is a tally: how many people clicked, and a referral fee if a membership or a booking followed. Names, addresses and anything you type into that company stay with that company. Which links are paid, and which we refuse, is on the disclosure page.
Email we receive
Messages sent to the address on the contact page sit in an ordinary mailbox. We keep them while a correction is being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can remember what changed and why. Nobody is added to anything as a result of writing in, and we do not pass addresses on.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anybody, of any age.
Your rights, and how to use them
Depending on where you live you may have rights to see what a site holds about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Given that what we hold is limited to server logs and any email you have sent us, exercising those rights here is usually a matter of one message. Write to the address on the contact page and say what you want done.
Changes
If this page changes, the date below changes with it, and a change that adds any form of collection will be made before the collection starts rather than after. Last updated 24 September 2026.
